Repairs and Disposals

The repair log tracks items that are damaged or out of service. The disposal history records items that have been permanently removed from your inventory.

Log a repair

  1. Go to Inventory → Repair Log.
  2. Click Log Repair.
  3. Select the item.
  4. Describe the issue.
  5. Save the record.

Update a repair record

  1. Open the repair from Inventory → Repair Log.
  2. Update the status or add notes.
  3. Save.

Record a disposal

  1. Find the item in Inventory → Overview.
  2. Open the item.
  3. Click Dispose.
  4. Enter the reason and disposal date.
  5. Confirm.

View disposal history

  1. Go to Inventory → Disposal History.
  2. Review all items that have been disposed of, with reasons and dates.

Things to know

  • Disposed items are removed from your active inventory count.
  • The repair log gives you a record of recurring issues with specific items.
  • Disposal history is kept permanently so you have a full audit trail.
