Repairs and Disposals
The repair log tracks items that are damaged or out of service. The disposal history records items that have been permanently removed from your inventory.
Log a repair
- Go to Inventory → Repair Log.
- Click Log Repair.
- Select the item.
- Describe the issue.
- Save the record.
Update a repair record
- Open the repair from Inventory → Repair Log.
- Update the status or add notes.
- Save.
Record a disposal
- Find the item in Inventory → Overview.
- Open the item.
- Click Dispose.
- Enter the reason and disposal date.
- Confirm.
View disposal history
- Go to Inventory → Disposal History.
- Review all items that have been disposed of, with reasons and dates.
Things to know
- Disposed items are removed from your active inventory count.
- The repair log gives you a record of recurring issues with specific items.
- Disposal history is kept permanently so you have a full audit trail.
