Prep Sheets

Prep sheets are packing lists for a job. Build one from your live stock, assign it to a crew member, and use it to verify everything is loaded before it leaves the warehouse.

Creating a prep sheet

  1. Go to Inventory → Prep Sheets.
  2. Click Create Prep Sheet.
  3. Give it a name (usually the job name or date).
  4. Add items — search by name or scan barcodes.
  5. Set quantities and assign to a crew member if needed.

Checking availability

Items are drawn from live stock. If something isn't available in the required quantity, OpsOS flags it on the prep sheet so you can sort an alternative before the day.

Printing and sharing

Print the prep sheet as a PDF, or share it digitally. The digital version can be used on the floor to tick items off as they're loaded.

Verifying a load

As items are physically loaded, mark them off the prep sheet. When everything is ticked, the sheet is marked complete. The check-out is recorded in movement history automatically.

Linking to projects

Prep sheets can be linked to a project in the Projects module. This keeps all the kit associated with a job in one place and makes it easy to see what's been allocated versus what's still at the warehouse.
