Categories
Categories organise your inventory items into groups. Each category can have subcategories for more detailed organisation.
Create a category
- Go to Inventory → Settings → Categories.
- Enter the category name.
- Click Add.
Create a subcategory
- Go to Inventory → Settings → Categories.
- Find the parent category.
- Enter the subcategory name in the subcategory field.
- Click Add.
Edit or delete a category
- Go to Inventory → Settings → Categories.
- Click Edit on the category you want to change, or Delete to remove it.
- Confirm any deletion.
Things to know
- Categories are used to filter items in the overview and on prep sheets.
- A category cannot be deleted if items are still assigned to it — reassign those items first.
