Categories

Categories organise your inventory items into groups. Each category can have subcategories for more detailed organisation.

Create a category

  1. Go to Inventory → Settings → Categories.
  2. Enter the category name.
  3. Click Add.

Create a subcategory

  1. Go to Inventory → Settings → Categories.
  2. Find the parent category.
  3. Enter the subcategory name in the subcategory field.
  4. Click Add.

Edit or delete a category

  1. Go to Inventory → Settings → Categories.
  2. Click Edit on the category you want to change, or Delete to remove it.
  3. Confirm any deletion.

Things to know

  • Categories are used to filter items in the overview and on prep sheets.
  • A category cannot be deleted if items are still assigned to it — reassign those items first.
