After-Shift Reports

After-Shift Reports let each tenant decide what workers are asked after a shift. The form is no longer fixed. You can turn the feature off entirely, build your own templates, choose a tenant default, and override that template per worker and per shift type.

How it works

Area What happens there
Planner Settings → After-Shift Turn reports on or off, create templates, archive old templates, set the tenant default template.
Planner User Profile → After-Shift Set a default template for a worker and optional shift-type overrides.
Worker Portal Workers receive the report request and complete the live template they were assigned.
After-Shift Review Schedulers review submitted answers and uploaded media.

Turn the feature on or off

  1. Go to Settings → All Module Settings → Planner → After-Shift.
  2. Use Enable after-shift reports to control the feature tenant-wide.
  3. Save the settings.

When the feature is off, after-shift report UI is hidden from the Planner sidebar, the worker portal dashboard, and the worker profile assignment tab.

Build a template

  1. Open Settings → All Module Settings → Planner → After-Shift.
  2. Click Create Template.
  3. Add a name and optional description.
  4. Add fields in the order you want workers to answer them.

Supported field types: - Short text - Long text - Yes / No - Rating (1–5) - Select with your own list of options

Templates can be: - Active: available for assignment - Archived: kept for history, hidden from new assignments

Set the tenant default template

  1. Go to Planner → After-Shift in module settings.
  2. Choose a template under Tenant default template.
  3. Save the settings.

This template is used when a worker has no custom after-shift assignment.

Assign templates to a worker

  1. Go to Planner → Planner Users.
  2. Open the worker profile.
  3. Open the After-Shift tab.
  4. Choose a Default template for that worker if needed.
  5. Add Shift Type Overrides for any shift kinds that need a different form.
  6. Save the settings.

Resolution order: 1. Shift-type override for that worker 2. Worker default template 3. Tenant default template

What workers see

Workers still receive after-shift requests in the worker portal in the same way as before. The difference is that the form is generated from the assigned template instead of the old fixed questions.

Workers can: - open the pending request from After-Shift Reports - answer the configured questions - upload photos or video - submit before the expiry date

Review submitted reports

  1. Go to Planner → After-Shift Review.
  2. Open the report you need.
  3. Review the submitted answers and any uploaded media.

Historical reports keep the exact template snapshot that was sent at the time. Archiving or changing a template later does not rewrite old responses.
