Using the Command Palette
The command palette is the keyboard shortcut for fast navigation around OpsOS. It lets you jump straight to a page by typing a short command instead of clicking through sidebars.
Open the command palette
- Press Ctrl+K
- Or press Ctrl+Space
- On Mac, Cmd+K also works
What it can do
- Jump to module home pages such as Projects, Purchasing, Planner, Inventory, Fleet, Transfer, HR, and CRM
- Open common pages like user management, supplier lists, payment queues, and planner views
- Use a few direct actions such as opening a PO by number or searching for a supplier or contact
How results are scoped
The command palette only shows and resolves commands that are valid for your current access.
- Permissions: commands are filtered by your RBAC permissions
- Module entitlements: commands for modules your tenant does not have enabled are hidden
- Current product names: commands use the current module names, such as Projects rather than older internal labels
If you type a command for something you cannot access, it will not appear as an available result.
