Sharing Files with Transfer

Transfer lets you send files to anyone via a secure link — no account required on their end.

Creating a package

  1. Go to Transfer.
  2. Click Create Package.
  3. Give it a name — this appears on the recipient's download page.
  4. Upload your files (drag and drop or browse).
  5. Set an expiry date or download limit if needed.
  6. Click Create to generate the link.

Setting limits

Option What it does
Expiry date The link stops working after this date.
Download limit The package can only be downloaded this many times total.

Both are optional. Leave them blank for an open-ended link.

Copy the short link from the package page and send it however you like — email, message, project note, anywhere. The recipient clicks it and downloads directly. No login, no account, no app to install.

Tracking access

On the package page, the Access Log shows every time the package was viewed or a file was downloaded — with a timestamp and IP address. If you set a download limit, you can see how many uses remain.

Deleting a package

To revoke access immediately, delete the package. The link stops working instantly and the files are removed from storage.
